Guys. Get this. I’ll get it and review it, too, but books with trans characters need attention. Publishers need to know that these books get sold.
ALSOOO it is super important to mention that this is a middle grade book. The protag is a preteen and it’s marketed to preteens. Do you know how important this is???? Like can you imagine a trans kid finding this book in their preteen years and just how big of a difference it would make?? (And for cis kids too, which will in turn make a difference for trans kids!)
Please if you have the means to, buy Gracefully Grayson. Not only will you be buying a great, enjoyable read, you’ll be helping to get this book into the hands of the kids that need it, AND proving to publishers, agents, editors and authors that writing trans stories is worth it.
