Digging up ‘song lyrics’ I wrote when I was 14-ish years old. Wow. They’re actually pretty good, if I were a teenage Disney Star. Any young teens want some lyrics so I can get some monies? Lol. Maybe I can sell em to Disney or something. Other than that, I really can’t use em.
I know I wrote them off stories more than my own experiences coz I had not experienced a lot of things and man, did I read some depressing stuff.
Overall, I was surprised to see that I was not a dark, depressing, brooding teenager. I mean, besides the few songs about death and dying and breakups I never experienced, the songs about being lonely and the many songs that mentioned crying, I really didn’t seem to be really dark. I read the stuff (I know this coz it really does trigger the memory when reading old stuff), but it wasn’t who I was. And that made me a little happy and I don’t know why.
